Unbelievably, your credit report can affect your employment opportunities in both negative and positive ways. For example, if you’re an accountant, or another type of worker who handles or is responsible for money, profit margins, costs, etc., and your personal credit is excellent, they are more likely to trust you with the company’s money. Likewise, if your credit report is damaged or poor, they may be less likely to trust you to handle the company’s money. That’s why it’s always a good idea to know that your credit score is, and what is on your credit report, before you begin that job search.
And speaking of job searches, we’ve just added that category to our site!
Remember, your fresh start can come from literally any change that you make, including that new job.
